why is it from the time of the bible, Israel has been in war? if the bible predicts that all the nations of the world will rise against Israel,and Israel is now capturing and annexing lands of her enemies, don’t you bible believing people think this is a precipitation for more war and conflict? have we all forgotten that its only love that can conquer hate? as Christians, more than praying for Israel to be in a situation of forever war, we must be bold enough to have a just and acceptable settlement of the age old hatred between the Arabs and their neighbor Israel. the Jews hate the Arabs and want to kill every Arab just as the Arabs would want to do. the nuclear, biological, neutron and acid bombs in the arsenals of Israel are not there for the west and every westerner knows it.

With the current strategic alliances in the region between Syria, Turkey, Iran, Lebanon, Hezbollah, and Hamas, it appears we are on the threshhold of the predicted event known as the Gog/Magog Battle of Ezekiel 38-39. Russia will soon enter the region in a defensive posture to protect Syrian and Iranian assets as Ezekiel also declared, stating that Russia will no only be a guard yet additionally the chief weapons supplier to this alliance.

Israel will not have the oppurtunity to preemptively strike Iran with a Russian nuclear deterrent in the region. China heavily dependent on Iranian petroleum would also never allow their economic life blood to be threatened either. Many members of the European Union and perspective Euro N.A.T.O. members also rely on Russian and Iranian petroleum and natural gas. Economic santions will never come to fruition, yet the Lord God will soon provide a solution to the growing threat against Israel.

Damascus will be ground zero for the initial wrath of the Lord God upon the Gog/Magog alliance, this will be the forward command center as the prophecy indicates, they will perish in the open field in the territory of ancient Bashan or the Syrian Golan plateu. Damascus will be the epicenter of this great earthquake recorded in the Ezekiel prophecy, yet Israel will shake mightily and every wall will fall to the ground. The Al Aqsa and the Dome of the Rock will be reduced to rubble and dust paving the way for the construction of the Third Temple.

I have heard you and Brother Lehay. It was said that it’s not really know where the antichrist will come from. I really believe that he will come out of the “lost tribe of dan”. The verse I look at is in Gen 49:17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.

Larry,

I mentioned the death, burial and resurrection because that’s the way Paul states the gospel in 1 Cor 15:1-3. The burial of Jesus was the placing of his dead body in the tomb. The burial is important because it shows that Jesus really died and that He was truly resurrected. The burial of Jesus in the tomb of a rich man, Joseph of Arimathea, also fulfilled an OT prophecy from Isaiah 53:9.

Could it be that when Gog and maygog takes place that it will include Damascus will be turned into a ruinous heap at the same time?
One other little thing! We Americans are concerned for Israel and the Iran ordeal (rightly so) but because of what our arrogant leaders have forced on that nation which the Lord has made His covenant with, He is allowing His judgment here, we’ll be gone (sad to say) but Israel will last forever. Christians should pray that God provides while this nation is going down by the hand of the Lord! Does this let “those” that had a hand in bringing both nations down off the hook? No way, for the Lord will deal with them in time, mainly after they wait in Hades for a thousand years! Does it seem that before the trumpet sounds that we could witness some of these early war prophecy’s? I think that when the Lord calls His church Home that we’ll be wiping our foreheads and saying not a second to soon! Yeick’s! And thank you Jesus!
